Informative Report

A familiar household appliance that I identified for the informative report is a microwave oven. The audience for the report are fifth graders in a science report. The aim is to teach the students how the home appliance works. Before microwave ovens were invented, human beings used to warm food using wood fires for a long time. The microwave has thereby made life easier by making it easy for people to warm their food without necessarily having to put up a fire. Warming food is also seamless meaning that it is fast and leads to cost savings. The microwave was invented in the 1970s and is a common home appliance in many homes today.
