What is power?
Power is a central concept in international relations which is essential to governing bodies. Power is a broad concept that is difficult to define. However, several definitions in international ties exist. It is the ability to make other groups, individuals or even nations to behave in ways that they could not in an ordinary manner (Northeastern University Online). Power is also the means by which a state asserts influence among other players because of the military, economic, technological or financial capabilities that it has.
