“What are some strategies for designing a webinar that involves problem-based learning?”

In your Annotated Bibliography, please include the following:

1. Research Question: At the top of the page, write a research question that reflects your Prospectus topic and that will guide your search for journal articles or textbook chapters. For example, “What are some strategies for designing a webinar that involves problem-based learning?”

2. Section 1: Introduction. In this section, you will provide a one paragraph overview of the specific topic that you are exploring relative to your proposed design. What is the topic? What is the question or issue you are trying to learn more about? Why are you researching this topic? Why is this topic interesting, important, and/or relevant to the larger field of instructional design? What are the gaps in your knowledge that you would like to fill through this research?

3. Section 2: List of resource citations and annotations for each.

• Provide the citation in American Psychological Assocation (APA) format. In addition to the examples provided, the OWL website (https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/614/01… is a good resource). Another helpful resource is the citation software (zotero.org)
• In the first paragraph, below the citation, summarize the article in a paragraph and describe how it relates to the topic.
• In the second paragraph, provide your evaluation of the article, including how it would relate to the purpose and audience of the instructional design/technology you have proposed in your Prospectus. Also explain whether it useful to you in your future endeavors and why. Each paragraph should be about five sentences.
• Repeat for each of the five articles.

4. Section 3 Conclusion: In this section, provide a one paragraph conclusion that summarizes the state of the research for the topic/focus of your proposed instructional design or technology (eg – the research seems to suggest that an instructional design of a webinar for new employees should include x, y, and z because…). What did you learn and how are you going to apply this to your proposed instructional design? Also identify future research that you would like to conduct to learn more about this topic or one that came up as you were doing your research (eg – future research should investigate how gender might play a role in engagement in online webinars)
