Introduction
Laws and ethics are often confused. While different people or groups of people can talk about their moral values, people in a particular society are governed by a similar set of rules. Law and ethics usually and often conflict each other, and that is disastrous especially if one does not know the difference between the two. Ethics is philosophical and is a process by which people, guided by principles, values and purpose decide on what is the best thing to do. Law is different in that it is not personal.
