What is the judicial review process? Assess its strengths and weaknesses. Should Canada adopt a weaker form of judicial review like the UK? If so, why

The judicial review process refers to the process of challenging public authorities’ lawfulness of decisions usually local as well as central government. It is the ‘supervisory’ role of the court in every country to ensure that the decision maker acts lawfully. However, the process of judicial review does not mean a re-run on the decision’s qualities but a contest to the legality from a particular choice that was chosen or taken (Waldron, 2005).
