The productivity of employees within an organizational context is dependent on a variety of factors in addition to the level of expertise with respect to the responsibilities in question. Firstly, the level of motivation within the workplace determines the extent beyond which the employees put effort to ensure that they play their role in achieving the organizational objectives (White & Moraschinelli, 2009). At Starbucks, the working environment has been of significant consequence in ensuring that the employees have an appropriate environment to facilitate engagement in their activities within the business.
