Individual Profile Project
REQUIREMENTS
Each student will research and have at least four quality sources/references for this project. Sources are defined as major periodicals or major books from well-known authors. In-class materials, textbooks, and Internet sources may be used in the paper, but they do not qualify as one of the four required outside sources. All sources must be documented as required by the APA handbook for proper formatting. In addition to the four sources, the paper must include at least one objective personality profile or personality assessment like the Meyers/Briggs, DiSC, Hershey/Blanchard model, etc.
EXPECTATIONS
To prepare for the core assessment project, create a running document to keep track of notes and sources throughout the course by using headings for each required section to be completed throughout the course:
- General Opening/Introductions
- Findings from Personality Assessments
- Analysis of Strengths and Weaknesses (according to the results of the assessments linked to a relevant theory)
- Goals (short-term and long-term)
- How to Utilize this Information to be Better Prepared for Your Future
- Conclusion/Review of Personal Growth and Lessons Learned
RESOURCES
- Use one of the following resources below and the templates they provide to create your individual leadership profile project.

- Devise strategies for working productively with members of a team (CLO 6).
Directions
- Submit your sources in APA format reference list.
- Find sources that are interesting, thought-provoking, useful, and meaningful to you.
- You may explore concepts further from your previous stage findings (e.g., strengths/weaknesses identified, personality, etc.).
- You will also want to begin reviewing theories that can be linked to your personal style – as a leader, a follower, and a team member (to be used in your final submission).
Due Date
- Submit by 11:59 p.m., Sunday, CT.
