leadership development class- How shall I live
Leadership Development Reflection
One of the primary lessons learned throughout the semester has been that anyone has the potential to be a leader, as long as one is able to anticipate potential issues in the context of the leadership process. Consequently, employing either one of the leadership styles to steer a team to success largely depends on understanding the potential issues faced by the team in the implementation of the decision in question. Ultimately, although different leaders are endowed with the ability to employ either of the different leadership approaches in different measure, possessing each of them is critical to leadership success. In essence, the course has been instrumental in helping me understand that ideal leadership values are relative to different situations, making everyone an able leader under different circumstances.
