Part 1
The leadership style that I selected for discussion is the transformational leadership style. The style is considered to be one of the most influential styles due to the manner in which it inspires organizations to achieve better results and overcome various workplace issues that are encountered (Bass, and Riggio, 19). The style calls for the leader to inspire employees through finding better ways and strategies to achieve various organizational goals. Leaders are always looking for changes that can be incorporated in collaboration with the employees. Since employees are highly involved in the leadership, their motivation and morale is enhanced and this leads to increased productivity and performance. The style also calls for creation of rapport between the leaders and the employees.
