Subject: Climate Change in Chicago
Based on the recent analysis gained from the area during the past twenty to thirty years, I believe the hazard that should be mitigated will focus highly on climate change. Most people regard the city as one of the best regions one can live in since the area is not prone to get tsunamis, hurricanes and high sea levels which may lead to flooding. Additionally, Lake Michigan sits near the city and has managed to provide fresh water in the area that will not only be used for human survival but will also be beneficial if the region suffers a drought spell.
