It is paramount that hazardous events occur in various places across the globe. A hazard can simply be defined as an event that poses a danger to humans such as floods, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, landslides among others. In my community, the residents are mostly affected by floods during the long rains (Lieberman-Cribbin, Liu, Schneider, Schwartz & Taioli, 2017). These hazardous events can be identified to protect them from infringing harm to the community.
