Moving to a new country could be a challenge and different people have varied experiences following their immigration status. In particular, the settlement process marks one of the most significant challenges experienced by immigrants due to the necessity to adapt to new conditions in a foreign country, where their cultural views may not always be similar to those of the community they meet.
