Learning Goal: I’m working on a management multi-part question and need support to help me learn.
Part 1:
Read chapter 5 and chapter 6.
Consider the following:
The concept of the “Consulting Approach” for “winning work” as discussed in Chapter 6 of our text.
The statement “Project management in a typical consulting engagement is not complex, but consultants are not great project managers” (Newton, 2019, p.123).
The actions of counsel and consult and the two different things that should be presented at the end of an engagement.
After reading the text and the considerations above, answer the following questions in your discussion response.
Consider the key differences between a consultant and a project manager. Do you believe that a great consultant will necessarily make a great project manager? Would a great project manager necessarily make a great consultant? Support your response.
What are your top three project management skills or traits?
What are your top three consultant skills or traits?
Based on your identified skills above, do you think you are more suited for a project management role or a consultant role? Explain.

Part 2:
Journal Article Review
Search for a scholarly journal article on one or more of the three core processes of client-centric consulting explained in chapter 5. The article should be less than 5 years old. Conduct a review of the article focusing on these four sections: Introduction, summary, analysis, and conclusion. Make sure to follow APA guidelines.

The introduction should introduce the article by providing the reader with the article title and the author’s name. It will also give some details about what you will be talking about in the subsequent paragraphs.
Summary: (2 paragraphs)
The summary follows the introduction and presents the main points of the article. The summary provides readers with an overview of the article, which will help them understand your analysis. Only include information that is relevant to your analysis.
Analysis (2 paragraphs):
The analysis section is where you analyze the article for the reader. This is your chance to give your opinion on the article’s content.
Conclusion: (1 paragraph)
The conclusion is where you make any final points and draw your conclusion about the information presented in the article.
