The painting of the expulsion from the Garden of Eden is an American piece of art by Thomas Cole, born from England but working in the United States. Created in 1828, Thomas builds upon his belief of the sanctity of the natural world by capturing the beauty of the American Landscape despite American themselves disregarding it at that time. The painting Utilizes Oil on Canvas.
The painting is a subtle contrast of two landscapes which can properly be judged by taking the different scenes from the center. On the left, is paradise itself. The beauty of the land is shown by lofty mountains, whose peeks touch the heavens, nice restful light and a sense of serenity that can be felt and seen.
