There are various social issuesthat are discussed in the news today. The issue that I identified for this essay is gender discrimination. Gender discrimination refers to a situation where people in society are treated differently on the basis of their gender (Specia, 2019). When this happens, there is a likelihood that hate and animosity may spread across the community. Such discrimination also has a tendency to curtail the opportunities for growth for the individuals
