Plato’s theory of forms
Plato is a philosopher who presented platonic forms. These are ideas and thoughts of things that are really in total existence. These thoughts are full representation of how the thing should be to qualify to be the real thing. Ideas of how the real thing is there and what remains is the comparison between the thing you are seeing in existence and the real characteristics of the real thing. A good example is that of human beings. One has an idea of the character traits that should be adopted to be described as human. Therefore, it all refers to the representation of humanness in oneself. Neither, there has never been a perfect man in existence with character traits representing the humanness in oneself. There are three different levels of reality according to Plato (Lovibond, S. 2016).
