What I Have Learned About Visuals
Visuals include gestures, images, posters, and signs and other forms of imagery and symbols that may be used to enhance communication to share information. Landa, R. (2018). As such, I can describe visual communication as the transmission of information and ideas by utilizing imagery and symbols. I have learned that visuals are the best tools that people can rely on in their communication since everyone easily understands them. While there are many barriers of communication, such as language and illiteracy, visuals are not affected by these barriers. For example, when people visit different regions or countries where natives speak different language from them, it becomes difficult for them to rely on verbal communication.
