research into this topic. You will research recent articles that contain facts about the topic
chosen from the chapter. Find more information than is in the text. Try to gain more current
information that is in the text. Write three paragraphs, as follows:
Article Summary (150 words minimum)
Research a reliable article published within the last six months that contains facts about your
chosen topic from this chapter. Be sure to review the Research Help materials. Summarize
the articles used in your own words and discuss the facts you found. Do not use quotations.
Paraphrase the information, and provide in-text citations with the page number(s), where
appropriate. Include a link to the articles.
Compare/Contrast (100 words minimum)
Compare and contrast the article with the Ethics textbook chapter. Be specific. Does the
chapter agree/disagree, etc? How is the information in the article similar and/or different from
what is presented in the Ethics textbook chapter? What updated and/or different information
did you find? Use your own words. Do not use quotations. Paraphrase the information, and
provide an in-text citation(s) with the page number(s), where appropriate.
Reaction (100 words minimum)
Why did you choose this topic? Is there something that you would like to change? If you
disagree with how the issue is being handled, what can you do in an attempt to ethically
change it? What can you do to make an ethical, logical impact on this evolving topic? Have
you done something already (for example, written your Congress person)?
