Details: Task 2
This week we will focus on storytelling and delivering a speech. There are two ways that we can ease ourselves comfortably into the speaking process. One is by talking about ourselves, which you did last week. The second is by telling a story.
Read from your textbook “Chapter 10: Delivering a Speech”
Read “How to Tell a Great Story”
Think about a story you would like to tell. It can be a remake of an already written story or a personal experience you have had. The choice is yours to make!
Create a file folder for this week titled with your name and Task 2.
Place the following items in the file folder:
A powerPoint presentation that you will use in this week’s lesson (please leave the PowerPoint blank at this time)
All images that you will use in your storytelling PowerPoint.
Plan for a 5-7 minute speech.
An APA formatted outline that contains
– the introduction to your story
– chronological events in your story – at least 10 events
– the conclusion to your story
Now, zip the file and upload it to Moodle for use in the Lesson portion of this week’s module.
