A stack and queue can be taken as linear data arrangements that are applicable in the storage and retrieval of data. They, however, differ in their working principle which determines the specific elements of each data structures. A stack, on one hand, is a configuration whereby all the deletions, as well as deletions, are done at the end of the process. A queue is, however, a list done in the opposite of a stack whereby all ends are for inserting and removal of data (Goodrich, Tamassia & Goldwasser, 2014). A stack works using the LIFO (last in first out) while a queue, on the other hand, is known to use FIFO (first in first out) while dealing with any data elements.
