Libertarianism
Question One
By definition, libertarianism implies the reduction in government involvement in public activities, and giving the public the opportunity to make their own decisions and engage in business as people wish to. In particular, the government would just provide the basic necessities such as security and ensuring that people have their rights as provided by the rule of law, but eventually facilitate a leissez faire market situation. The best way to understand the extent of justice under libertarianism lies in exploring the implications of such conditions in nineteenth century America.
