Multiple linear regression model is a type of model that relates a dependent variable to more than one explanatory variable. Denoting dependent variable by “Y” and the explanatory variables by X1, X2, … , XK. The purpose in this specific study is try to establish how different levels of commitments (normative commitment, affective commitment and continuous commitment) influence job satisfaction. To achieve this we will need to run a multiple linear regression analysis where job satisfaction will be our response variable while levels of commitments (normative commitment, affective commitment and continuous commitment) will be the explanatory variables.
