In any case, if the layers assistant had to lie, several rules could be violated. The lawyer’s code of ethics can be affected if the assistant has to lie to get information. If an assistant or the layers engage in lying to acquire the information to get evidence, then ethical rules referred to pretesting can be practiced by the attorney by the use of their license. It is very unethical to lie to obtain information and this proofs that the firm lacks morals.
