Describe the Circle of Life (Sacred Hoop)
The Circle of life (Sacred Hoop) is one of the symbols Lakota culture uses to represent spiritual beliefs and their principles. Circle of life exemplifies the belief that all the things in the universe are connected in one continuous process of growth and development. The Circle of life represents the common values that bore the Lakota nation together in harmony within their tribal system. These morals include; ceremonies, teaching from elders, generosity, religion, wisdom, four directions, language, songs, storytelling, bravery, and the common belief that everything which is good and holy is depicted in the shape of the circle.
