Part 3: A Medication Error that I Made

            Humankinds including healthcare professionals, have the propensity to make errors. Medical mistakes can be fatal as they can lead to patients losing their lives or compromise patients’ relations with their physicians and nurses. This is what I learned when I misdiagnosed a patient’s stomach upset for pregnancy. She had complained of experiencing cramping and nausea since morning, which led me to believe that she might be pregnant.
