Scholarly Activity-Seminar
Overview
A recent seminar within the neighborhood sought to create awareness on the importance of information technology in the health sector. In particular, the meeting involved creation of awareness that medical practitioners should not entirely depend on information technology professionals to help meet the needs of the various work environments related to information technology management. Consequently, the seminar intended to reach out to the professionals in the healthcare sector, noting the importance of interest in areas not of specific influence on one’s particular field of operation. In particular, it challenged me in to seeking further knowledge in the information communication technology, as there will always be need to interact and address the potential challenges that could affect transfer of information over the healthcare facility’s network.
