Education Policy

Globalization has always been an important subject of discussion among scholars in the twenty-first century, and the society can no longer ignore its implications on the education sector. Bob Lingard and Jenny Ozga (2007), are among scholars highlighting the role of globalization within the education sector’s context. In particular, the authors argue that with the increased levels of globalization, the education policy has changed so much as well to the extent that education policies at the international level have developed, thereby influencing the local vernacular education policies. Motivated by the extent of globalization, Lesley Bartlett and Frances Vavrus (2014) evaluate the ideal approach to the study of the global education policy.
