Executive Summary

            The Texas State Aquarium is one of the leading rescue centers in the state. The center provides care for endangered wildlife while at the same time protecting the environment. Management of systems is important at the institution since it helps complement other activities that are undertaken. The institution currently uses a pit log scanner as the major platform for data entry. There is a huge need to improve the current system so as to cover a broader range of wildlife issues. Doing this would help support the various activities of the organization.
