Health Care System and beliefs in relation to Culture and Heritage
Culture is a people’s way of life. The definition of the term is mostly borrowed from Sociology and Anthropology. Although there is no standard definition of the same, a renowned Anthropologist by the name Edward .B. Tylor defines culture as that complex whole, which includes beliefs knowledge, morals, art law, customs and any other capability and habits acquired by humans as a member of a given society. Culture is the glue that holds people together in a given community as it dictates how things are done, by who and at what time. Additionally, it sets out the norms and the taboos of society through the establishment of the religion. A people’s political, economic and beliefs are the major constitutes of a culture as they determine not only the present but also the future of the society. Culture is passed from one generation to others through the use of language.
