Personal Values

Complete the following three assessments and then write a paper on what you learned about yourself and how these observations affect your motivation and performance in your personal and professional life. The assessments are:

• Personal Values, Assessment 5, in the text on page W-37
• Results: Top 3 areas are professional with 160, financial with 160 and physical with 150. These are out of 200.  My bottom 3 areas are community with 40, spiritual with 40 and social with 100. I also have intellectual at 140 and family at 120. The higher the total in any area, the higher the value you place on that particular area. Is it sufficient to allow you to achieve the level of success you want in each area? If not, what can you do to change? Is there any area in which you feel you should have a higher vale total? If yes which, and what can you do to change?
• Two-Factor Profile, Assessment 7, page W-40
• I received a MF score of 35 and an HF score of 25.  The MF score indicates the relative important that you place on motivating or satisfier factors in Herzbeg’s two-factor theory. This shows how important job content is to you. The HF core indicates the relative importance that you place on hygiene or dissatisfier factors in Herzberg’s two-factor theory. This shows how important job context is to you.
• Are You Cosmopolitan?, Assessment 8, page W-40
• I scored a 21 on this assessment. A “cosmopolitan” identifies with the career profession, and a “local” identifies with the employing organization. A score of 30-40 suggests a cosmopolitan work orientation, 10-20 a “local” orientation, and 20-30 a mixed orientation.

The assignment paper requirements are:

• two-page paper, not to include title page or references
• Times New Roman, 12pt
• double-spaced
• title page containing student name, module number and title of assignment

All sources should be cited using the American Psychological Association (APA) style and format.
