What, according to Kant, is Substance?

Kant’s philosophical impact on the world cannot be undermined with extensive contributions towards ethics, religion, and metaphysics. Kant sought Himself to establish how we can escape from the confines of the human mind and the immediate knowable knowledge of our thoughts to acquire knowledge of the world outside of us (McCormick, 2018). The article is a precise dissection of the underbelly of Kant’s description of substance including Kant response to Hume’s notion of substance. Additionally, it reviews Kant’s perception of phenomena and noumena revealing what he believes to be the level of dependence between the two.
