Q1. Authors of Philosophical work should be questioned to establish the conditions that influenced their ideas which are brought out in work. The questions may include:

• What political environment the author wrote the work
• What were social conditions prevailing during the time of writing?
• What were environmental conditions prevailing during the period of writing?
• What kind of background the did author come from?

The political environment in which an author writes their work influences the ideas of the author directly. This is because some works of writing are prohibited in some political situations. In democratic political regimes, authors are not restricted even to criticize the authorities but also can express their ideas on any improvements that they deem possible.
