Different philosophers in history have influenced the school of thought on various issues across generations. However, one of the most notable aspects of philosophy and their argument has always been the influence of culture and the environment on the arguments of the people within the said society.[1] Otherwise, the philosophers would have no reference sources from which to derive their arguments on various issues. Consequently, even as the contemporary world gives much credit to renowned philosophers in history, it would be ideal to consider that their arguments were in response to their experiences within the contexts of their environment. Among some of the most contrasting philosophers in history, based on the bases of their arguments, are John Locke and Nicollo Machiavelli. Despite the rationality in their argument, their environments and perception of governance were significantly different.
