Private Prisons

There is a lot of debate on private prisons and their place in the criminal justice system. Write a paper to discuss how private prisons might serve the system better/worse, particularly with respect to organization structure. How might the differences in structure between the organizations support or detract from the goals of the system?

Your paper should be 4-6 pages in length and include discussion and citations from at least three credible sources other than the course textbook. You can find these credible sources in the CSU-Global Library. Document formatting and source citations should be in conformity with CSU-Global Guidelines for Writing and APA Style.

Private prisons are facilities built by investors or a group of investors with the intention of using them to help the country manage her problem at an agreed fee. It’s a business because the investor intends to make profits by offering to perform the duty that the government could have done. The investors build the prisons according to the required specifications provided by the government and wait for the government to advertise for requisition of their services.
