Question One

Goal setting is a source of motivation for the parties working to achieve the goal in question. As opposed to manipulation, goal setting does not include any hidden agenda. On the contrary, the management within an organization setting always discloses the objectives of various activities to the employee, who also understand that their primary role at the business is to provide quality labor, that would help the firm achieve its financial objectives. Therefore, the clarity of the end result of employee involvement in organizational activities limits the chances of the goal setting initiative working as a source of employee manipulation.
