choose one of the psychological disorders (anxiety, depression, dementia, etc.) covered in the readings this week. Then, create a list of assessment questions for that disorder to use with a geriatric population. Discuss how you will assess the DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for that disorder and how you will adapt your assessment for an older adult. Be sure to consider your perspective as a marriage and family therapist (MFT), including components that make your assessment systemic and sensitive to the individual’s family and cultural context. List any specific questions you would ask during the assessment if you would include anyone else besides the identified client, and any formal inventories you might include. Utilize the optional readings and outside scholarly resources if needed.
Support your assignment with at least three scholarly resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including older articles, may be included.
