Details: Discuss the reasons why two raters may give different ratings when evaluating the same person. What factors might contribute to low inter-scorer reliability?
Discuss inter-rater reliability.
Explain the observed test score and random, systematic, standard, and other sources of error that are inherent in testing measures.
Provide an example of how systematic error (which is considered an error that is typically constant and proportional to what is presumed to be the true value of the variable being measured) will not affect score consistency.
An example of systematic error could be a scoring timer that chimes at 62 seconds instead of 60 seconds — making the timer off by 2 seconds each time it is used, which would be a constant if this timer were used for all subjects.
