quantitative

Just a couple paragraphs, no paper

Provide two real-world survey questions that would be useful to you in a professional application or in your everyday life by doing the following two parts:

(i) Your first should be a question associated with a categorical (quantitative) variable. Describe both the population and the sample. Explain the measuring scale associated with the question. Would you collect a stratified, cluster, systematic, or convenience sample? Explain why you would choose such a sampling technique. What might you be able to infer about the data you would collect?

(ii) Your second should be a question associated with a quantitative variable. Describe both the population and the sample. Explain the measuring scale associated with the question. Also, determine whether the variable associated with the survey question is discrete or continuous. Would you collect a stratified, cluster, systematic, or convenience sample? Explain why you would choose such a sampling technique. What might you be able to infer about the data you would collect?

Be sure to support your statements with logic and argument, citing any sources referenced. Post your initial response early and check back often to continue the discussion. Be sure to respond to your peers’ and instructor’s posts, as well.
