According to Durkheim, Turner, & Brookfield (1957), Sociology is a social science which focuses on studying the social society, it’s social interactions, it’s social relationships and more so its social culture in a bid to understand the social structure and have a vast and clear understanding of pushing and contribution factors to specific and outstanding social behaviors portrayed by different individuals in a social society. Sociologists use specific and unique research methods on social behavior and characteristics in order to have a clear understanding of the social societies (Durkheim, Turner, & Brookfield, 1957). Notably, sociologist like Emile Durkheim, Max Weber, Karl Marx, and W. E. B. Du Bois used and used the above stated distinctive research methods in their research in order to settle to effective sociological theories that were effective and applicable in their current societies.
