Questions
- What is the author’s point of view?
The point of view of the author is that Indians who occupied the Americas welcomed Europeans with open arms and even gave them whatever they wanted when they first reached America. They had remarkable hospitality and this was evident through some of the excerpts that were written by Columbus about the hospitality of the people. However, the Europeans decided to use such hospitality to exploit the various resources that were available and that were owned by the people.
