Sources of Social Power
In order to understand power, Michael Mann believes that one must first focus on the society. Power originates from revolves around the society, through the systems that have been created by it, in what can simply be described as social stratification. According to Mann, there are four sources of social power which include ideology, economic, military and political and relationships.
