Smoking Cessation
The contemporary society acknowledges the challenges associated with smoking and its impact on individual health, but a lot remains undone in convincing current smokers to quit their use of the cigarettes. The increased popularity of the e-cigarettes has further complicated the issues for the contemporary society since the users view them as being less harmful compared to the traditional cigarettes. However, the impacts of smoking remain the same since the ingested smoke ultimately affects the individual’s internal organs. Further, the focus on addressing smoking from the perspective of those yet to begin smoking does not meet the needs of those that are already addicted to smoking.
