Topic: Essay to get a scholarship. I am a mother of 3 children, working full time while pursuing a degree in mental health nursing. I intend to cut down on my hrs as I plan to start my clinical in May. This will affect my family’s financial status negatively.
Details: Thanks to our colleagues who generously make payroll deductions to the Empower Scholarship Fund, we will award 20 scholarships valued at $1,500 each to deserving students. In alignment with our mission to provide broad access to quality higher education, the fund strives to help keep education within reach by providing scholarships to current students who have a successful academic track record and the greatest need.
This Education for Good scholarships are for students who have already earned at least 24 credit hours with a GPA of 3.0 or better. Applicants are asked to submit an essay and a letter of recommendation.
