In this reflection paper, discuss the differences and similarities between the four theories of punishment. Then, discuss how educational programs within prisons can function as rehabilitation for inmates. Be sure to include the constraints of establishing these education programs as well as the components and benefits involved in developing and implementing these programs. There are many similarities and variances between the four theories of punishment. When used in right conditions, both the general and special deterrence can prevent a criminal and many others from doing the same criminal deeds. Also, these forms of deterrence only work when essential conditions are in place.
