Grading rubric:
A range: Question is answered with excellent in-depth analysis and solid supporting evidence. Information and facts are accurate and writing is clear, concise, and well organized, with minimal spelling or grammatical errors.
B range: Question is answered in a basic, accurate way with some analysis provided. Writing is acceptable, but needs more clarity and/or focus.
C range and below: Answer does not meet the standards written above.
Writing prompt:
Evaluate whether de Pizan, Wollstonecraft, and Ginsburg were feminists or not. Bonus points for integrating concepts from the “Four Waves of Feminism” reading. Use examples from the PowerPoint, videos, and readings to support your argument. You do not need to include any other sources.
Guidelines:
A strong essay will have an introductory paragraph with a thesis and then body paragraphs, with a strong topic sentence at the beginning of each body paragraph, that provides examples from the readings/videos/class to support your thesis. You should not use any other sources.
Include a title that reflects your thesis.
Parenthetical citations are OK. Include a Works Cited page.
