Relevance of Gender &/or Outside Accomplishments?
This is a discussion assignment among your classmates. Do you think a woman’s accomplishments outside work should be mentioned or the fact that she is a woman?
Do you believe it is important to emphasize a prominent scientist, engineer, mathematician, etc. as a woman, wife, mother? Do you think it is relevant? Do you think this mention should be gender neutral or is it critical to emphasize the struggles of the female to attain all of her accomplishments?
