Introduction
There are many factors that can be considered when we investigate deeper into how alcohol and other substance abuse is on the rise in the younger population. This factor can be genetically programmed into their lives of. The use through recreational use, and or other internal and external environmental factors.
Research Question
Why is there such a rise in the abuse of alcohol and substance abuse among the younger population?
Research Importance
To better understand the biologics behind alcohol and substance abuse.
To better educate those who are affected by this disease.
To better create interventions.
Literature Review
Alcohol and substance addiction is one of the fast-growing addictions in the younger population for several reasons. Some such as the genetic, their social class and even just for recreational uses. These addictions are then characterized and even now due to research can be considered as chronic diseases.
Prevalence
The drug crisis has caused an epidemic in the population of the youth and finds educational and therapeutic ways to help aid in this crisis. There are common factors that link the use and abuse of these addictive substances.

Qualitative Research Design
The qualitative design method is the chosen method used because it focuses on the groups used to better understand the research being conducted. The method used two groups the control and experimental groups.

The use of informed consent is vital in the ongoing process for any research. This allow the information that is being used to become valid and ensure that the potential participants are competent enough to process the information and make and informed decisions for themselves.
Summary
As we conclude this presentation it is noted that the process of qualitative research method. This process analyses the information in a less informative and invasive way. But is help better answer question to the research in a simpler way.
