Measures of Quality Research
Your post should be roughly 300-400 words. Each post is worth 15 points. A post that is not submitted will receive 0 points. A post that is incomplete will receive 5 points. A post that successfully addresses the prompt will receive 10 points. To receive full credit (15 points), write a post that not only addresses the questions but also touches on 1) your life and personal observations, 2) current events, 3) existing scholarship, OR 4) your possible research project for this class.

Use Tracy’s 8 “big tent ideas” outlined in the video (and also available to access in PDF form in the “files” section of Canvas). Assess whether the reading you selected is quality research. What are its strengths and weaknesses, if any?
