A limited government is where power is restricted through authorities such as the United States Constitution. Countries that have limited governments have less restrictive laws on what corporations and individuals can and cannot do. The United States government is premised on the constitution and is bound to uphold the principles set forth in it. Both the federal and state governments actions are limited to the perimeters set by the law. The main objective of the government is to life, liberty, property and stay out of the affairs of corporations and people. The government is not concerned about employment wages because it is a free market.
