Chapter Review

The chapters that were discussed during this week’s lessons were chapter 6 and 9 of the course book. Chapter 6 delved into enterprise risk management. Enterprise risk management is important for any organization since it determines the various effect that risk may have on some of the strategies that have been adopted by the organization. I may apply the knowledge from the chapter in my career in the future through allowing me to easily gauge or assess the risk that various operations of the company face. Such information may help the company to overcome various issues that can affect not only operational performance but also the realization of the long-term strategic organizational goals.
